Manual loading with shortcode

  • Hi is there a way to fire this plugin through cookie plugin. We use the webtoffee one and it has header and body scripts inside the cookie categories. We’d like to fire GTM there.

    Or is this plugin compatible with just manual insertion of the GTM scripts?

    Hi,

    Restricting GTM itself is in most cases not necessary:
    https://gtm4wp.com/gdpr

    However if you still would like to do this way, you can set the placement option in plugin settings to “off”. It will turn off outputting the GTM container code itself but it will generate the data layer. Then you can manually add your GTM container code in a way you prefer.
