Manual Code nor behaving as expected..

  • So following the steps here:

    If I follow the steps to “Check your inserted placement”
    It says “After you manually insert placement code, manage ads with the AdSense Plugin for WordPress to verify that your placement is now recognized by the plugin.”

    This in fact doesn’t happen.. The plugin only shows markers where it suggests to add code, but NO markers where I placed the manual code..

    I instead had to follow the instructions on this post to see that my manual code shows where I placed it: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/adsense/IsvL1Qd4eqw

    The plugin does indicate that ads are on my site, but it would be nice if the manual code worked the way it’s supposed to..

    Not posting this on the Google forum.. I found those posts on the Google forum.. others will too.. Posting it hear for those folks who look to the WordPress plugin support froum for answers..

    Okay.. So the Google AdSense Ad Manager dashboard says: “Ads are showing on your site.”

    However there are NO ADs showing on the site.. and according to my Google AdSense account they should be as the red banner that said I was awaiting final approval is now gone.. Why don’t I see ads using the manual code with this plugin??

    Not really seeing the whole benefit of this plugin versus just using the code directly in the same spots in my theme..
