Manual approval of new users

  • Hey, Is there any way to restrict approval of new user in WP Forum?
    or can I manually approve new users from backend without installing new plugins?

    Did you really mean the WP Forum plugn? That plugin hasn’t been updated in 12 years and has even been removed from www.remarpro.com.

    Or did you mean the WP Foro plugin?

    I’m very sorry for the earlier goof ??

    I’ve gone through ALL the WPForo plugin features, but I didn’t find any manual registration approval feature.

    The closest I could find was “Enable User Registration email confirmation”, which, when enabled, sends a confirmation link to the user after registering. This prevents users from being able to log in and create a post until they’ve click the confirmation link.

    This setting is under FORUMS => SETTINGS => FEATURES.

    So I guess you’ll need a plugin (or custom coding) to pull this off.

    I’ll advise you to post your question in the WPForo plugin’s own support forum to hear what the plugin’s author (and other experienced users of the plugin) have to say about this:
