    Hi All,
I have been working on a website with Mantra and the menus section was all set up, complete with sub headings. I updated to 4.0 and updated the plug-ins as prompted by the update section, and then some of my headings disappeared and my sub headings under those headings got spread out on the heading line as if they were heading. I deactivated the plug-ins and nothing changed.
I look in the menus section and along the left side, there is a list, in descending order of page, post, portfolio items, links, etc. and each one has a “view all” and “select all” options, but not the “pages” heading. It used to and that allowed me to put in the menu items. But now, it does not, yet all the other headings, like post, portfolio items, etc., do.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks

  • Same thing happened for me. It’s almost like if there are too headings and subheadings the menu defaults to an old alphabetical listing of the pages. I’ve re-built the menu and the same thing happens.

Thanks for your reply, aschmalen. I am going to try setting up a subdomain in my IPage account and see if I have better luck with either the “4All” or “Marketer” templates. I’ll let you know how it goes.
    Happy Holidays!

Robert, I think I found the issue. The menu cannot have more than 90 pages or it blows out the menu and defaults to the alphabetically list (view all).

There are work arounds and plugins for custom menu but the thread that I saw was 3 years old. See link below:

I figured out that I can condense some of my sub-navigation into html links on the main header pages and the navigation menu fits like it did pre-4.0. This is my work around that I just discovered tonight. Keep me posted on the templates that you are going to try.
    Thanks and Good luck.
