    Hi !

    I’ve just activated MangoPay WP plugin on my marketplace (sandbox).

    Everythings seems to be OK in admin part (all success items) but I can’t see Mangopay payment method in front-end (instead of Paypal).

    WooCommerce : 3.0.7
    WC-Vendors : 1.9.12
    Mangopay : 2.3.1

    Could you help me please ?

    Hey Emilien, thanks for your message and sorry to hear you’re having troubles. So all the status checks are green are they? Hmm, strange. We did have another client having variable products (as I see you have) and was having a similar problem, although we have been unable to reproduce the problem on our side.
    If you disable the other payment methods and try again, do you get a specific error message? Eg: “Désolé, il semble qu’il n’y ai pas de méthode de règlement disponible pour votre état. Veuillez nous contacter si vous avez besoin d’aide ou si vous désirez mettre en place une alternative.”

    If I disable other payment methods I get the following error message :

    “Désolé, il semble qu’il n’y ait pas de moyens de paiement disponibles pour votre région. Veuillez nous contacter si vous avez besoin d’assistance.”

    $available_gateways variable is empty

    I just sent you a tentative bugfix for this issue via e-mail. Could you please check it out? If it fixes the problem of product variations created by the marketplace admin directly in the WooCommerce back-office, we will include it in the next release of the plugin.

    @ecorveller Don’t send any access, it’s not safe and authors must not make that request here. They risk getting into trouble when they do that.

    @mangopay @ydubois I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    @jdembowski thanks for your message, but there was actually nothing wrong with @ydubois’s message at all, so I don’t understand why you deleted that particular one.
    And as for asking for logins, I specifically said not to send them via this forum ?? And we have a signed contractual and paying business relationship with the client, so I don’t think it would be wise for us to steal anything ??

    And this is where you make a mistake. I just had this conversation in another topic so I’ll just repeat that verbatim.

    I’m sorry, but this isn’t really a conversation: do not ask for that access. You asked for the user to provide that. Don’t.

    If that’s really a problem for you then please consider removing your plugin from the repo and host it on your site. You can provide whatever level of support on your own site but here do not make that request again.

    There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site should not be one of them.

    You get the idea.

    Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

    Yes, it’s a form letter. It comes up a lot.

    Full stop: No user should provide you that access. If that’s not clear then please feel free to email the plugins team about this.

    A bugfix has been developed (without having to access the user’s admin) and will be released shortly with a new version of the plugin.

    @corveller confirmed this fixes the issue, so anyone experiencing problems with variable product created in the WooCommerce back-office directly, please lookout for version 2.4.0 of the plugin.
