Mandigo stretched background pattern

    Hi there,

    I’m having some trouble with the background patter wp.png for this theme. I’ve got it set as repeating horizontally and vertically on the Theme Options page but my IE7 just seems to get the pattern and, instead of repeating it, it just stretches it out across the entire page?! Strangely enough the page looks fine (i.e. the pattern is repeating normally) in Firefox 3.0.1 and Safari 3.1.2! My website can be found here.

    Judging from the blog linked to, it looks as though keys05 did, indeed, solve this. I’m trying to contact him through a link on there. I would quite like to solve this for my blog — only realized it was happening very recently when I decided to see what a background would look like.

    If I get a solution, I’ll add it to this topic.

    Hi there,

    It took me a lot of time but I finally figured out what to do about the background – mainly through trial and error I discovered for my phpBB forum that I could only use a repeating background of the pattern in a jpeg format, so I tried that with the Mandigo theme (using a jpeg instead of png file – just Save As a different file type in MS Paint for example), select that in the Mandigo theme options and hey presto! No stretching!
