YITH WooCommerce Product Add-ons & Extra Options

    Hi there,

I have a product with 3 sets of options for the customers to pick from.

I know how to make the product options mandatory but I need to make it so that the customer is required to select one per group of options provided.

So in this case they must provide a filling, a side and a size.

    Maybe I am missing something?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, I don’t know what’s wrong. There are two Head options in my category. One of them is redundant. I checked the settings and found that there is no problem. Please help me find out where the problem is.

Additional information. What I mean is, I can select nothing, and add this product to the cart for 0.00.

    I have selected……

Hide “Add to cart” until the required options are selected

?Enable to hide the “Add to cart” button until the user selects the required options.”

……but it doesn’t seem to work as the add to cart button is displayed with nothing picked.

I need the option to make it so that one item per collection items is required to be picked. At the moment I can give the customer options.

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, the option to set at least one option as required is not available in this version.

    We’re sorry.

    Have a great day!

    @ivansosa That’s shame.

Thanks for letting me know. Do you think it’s a feature that will be available in the near future?

    (@mmk175)

@ivansosa Do you know if that feature will be added to the plugin?

    Hi

Following on from this, as i have just installed the free version to test. Are you stating that with the select option field, to make a selection ‘required’, I would need to purchase the premium version?? Is that correct?

@sandsprinting Either I made a mistake, doubtful considering they mention the feature is not included yet but it appears that the mandatory options are now available. So each section I need a customer to select must now have an option picked before they can add it to the cart.

@mmk175 it appears that from the 4 options available, ‘checkbox’, ‘Radio’, and ‘Input Text’ allow the ‘required’ option. ‘Select’ field does not have the ‘required’ option.

maybe you could state where this option is for the select field?

    Hi @sandsprinting

I am not sure what you need the plugin for but I have found that it meets my need to create a pizza builder quite well. I have since changed the build of the product in the link to a basic woocommerce variations product as the options are smaller.

But the pizza builder I have managed to build here is quite good https://matthewm265.sg-host.com/product/build-your-own-pizza/

I just have a small issue with CSS I am currently requesting support for. I am not a dev for the plugin so I can’t really help you much more.

@mmk175 i have found it, it is not on the first page within the field as with the other fields, it is on the ‘options configuration’ page. there is an option to ‘Force user to select an option’. it seems to work ok.

    thanks for the responses

Actually, the Radio button does not have the ‘required’ option. can this be added as a mandatory choice?

@sandsprinting this is marked as resolved so you might need to create your own support thread for the yith devs to look at themselves.
