Mandatory only if active

  • Hello,

    Is it possible to make a field mandatory only if it is active?
    I have profile fields that are active depending on a radio button.
    For example I have a radio button with the value A and B.
    And each of these values have under fields (A-1, B-1).
    If I put them mandatory and I choose A, when validating the field B-1 not being filled and mandatory, prevents validation.

    Hi,
    I am sorry, we missed your post.

    No, that’s not feasible using this plugin. This plugin does not manage the mandatory requirement. It is managed by BuddyPress core.

    I understand your need but I am not seeing a direct answer. The simple solution will be to not mark the conditional fields as manadatory and add custom validations on submission.
