    Hi,

    Your plugin is awesome, but when you activate “Monitor article”, IF URL change, to automatically add the redirect appear a major problem:
    If you Add New article it automatically add the URL “auto-draft” (which is add by WordPress, caused by ‘WP_POST_REVISIONS’ && ‘AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL’). So, your plugin add automatically TONS of useless redirects. For example I have in 2 weeks over 600 redirects like:
    /auto-draft/ -> post-a, /auto-draft/ -> post-b etc.
    The same is happen for pages too if you have activated “Monitor for pages”!
    You should mandatory add exception into add automatically redirect if URL slug is “auto-draft”, or to add only once, for example if slug URL is /auto-draft/ -> go to homepage!

    The plugin already ignores drafts. This feature has been in operation for years and nobody else has reported the issue, and I am also unable to reproduce it. Do you have other plugins running that may be changing things?

    Hi,

    I use plugins and Divi theme (Divi page builder by Elegant Themes). Auto-draft URL appear after I hit the button: “Use Divi Builder”. See: https://ibb.co/LZbjT3c

    How can I solve this problem, to disable Redirection plugin to add redirects of “auto-draft”?

    An auto draft generally does get a permalink, so I think something else is happening on your site, and it’s not really an auto draft but a real post. At that point Redirection will create redirects if the permalink is changed.

    I don’t have access to Divi to test what it is doing.

    You can disable the monitoring from Redirection options page if it doesn’t fit your situation.

    Monitoring link change of your plugin is very useful, except this tons of redirects of “auto-draft”!
    Ignore an URL from monitoring can solve this problem. Maybe in the near future you can consider to add in your Redirection plugin the option: Ignore URL from monitoring!
