    Hello,

Our website categorizes user roles into three groups: Active Membership, Expired Membership, and Free User. We offer both Free and Paid courses. For the Paid Courses, our goal is to hide the “Add to Cart” button and disable the “Enroll course” button for Free Users and those with Expired Memberships. Additionally, we aim to disable the “Start Learning” or “Continue Learning” options for users with Expired Memberships who have previously purchased courses.

We’re currently unsure about the process to achieve this. Could someone kindly guide us through the necessary steps?

  • Dear Concern,

To achieve the desired customization, you will need to override and modify the Tutor LMS templates and you have to develop some custom conditinal functions. You can refer to our documentation for detailed instructions on how to override the Tutor LMS templates. This process requires some knowledge of theme and plugin customization.

    Hi @largbasket,

Thank you for responding. We’ve successfully executed the process of duplicating the plugins/<plugin name>/templates into the child theme and renamed it to ‘tutor’. However, we’re uncertain about the specific files that need modification to attain the desired functionality. Your guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
