• I have inodes in excess of 300,000 – mainly from images and thumbnails in the several posts of the site.

How should I plan for the future? I intend to migrate the site to Scaleway, but the volumes there have 618,000 inodes (I saw this from format results). A lot of cloud hosts and VPS providers have 1m inodes limits too.

How do big sites manage inodes limitations? Any ideas and suggestions is appreciated in advance.

Simple. Move to a provider that doesn’t impose those limits.

There’s a lot of other hosting companies out there that don’t enforce limits like that, and you always have the option of running your own VPS or dedicated server which removes any limit like that alltogehter.

And before it happens, don’t aks for recommendations for hosting as that gets thread sshut down very quickly. ??

Find other hosting, I recommend closte.com as they don’t have inodes limit
