Managing BLog from iPad

  • Hi all…..

    Recently I purchased an iPad and would like to manage my WordPress sites/blogs using the iPad.

    Overall, things are great using it to administer my sites, with one exception. Due to apparently restrictions in iOS, I cannot take files sent to me and upload them to my sites through the iPad.

    I’m wondering if anyone else has run across this issue and what you have done, if anything, to correct it. I’d really like to do most everything from the iPad if I could.

    If it matters, I’m using both the WP app and my sites admin panel (wp-admin) to manage the sites.

    Ok, so I figured out how to get PDFs from my iPad to my blog. There is an app that allows me to ftp the documents to my site.

    However, although the files are in the server folder with other documents (that I uploaded via the wp-admin>media library>add new function in the admin panel), I cannot see them in the library to link to any of my posts / pages.

    Any ideas how I can fix this?

    You have to upload the files via WordPress.

    Ugh…..so ftp’ing the files (rather than WP upload) doesn’t place it in the WP database for it to show up in the admin panel for me to add it to my site. Is that correct?
