Managing Affiliate Bannner Ads

    Hi everyone,

    I have finished with tweaking my new blog to my liking. I am using quite a few affiliate banner ads (with more to come) and I’m wondering how I can go about managing them more easily than using Widgets. Currently, I have most of them running down the left sidebar of my site. What I’m wanting to do is to have the ads themselves rotate into a different spot each time someone visits the site. I don’t want my visitors to constantly see the same ads, in the same order every time they visit. I have searched and have only found something that looks like it might work with “text links”, but I’m wanting to rotate banners. Most of my banners are coming from Commission Junction, but I do have some of my own personal affiliates in the mix that I would want to include in the rotation.     Would I need a plug-in for this? I have searched through that forum also, but didn’t seem to find what I’m looking for. The other thing I should mention is that it is critical for me to have absolute control over what ads are displayed; therefore, I cannot use anything like Google banners or some other program that would rotate their own ads and not the ones I choose.

    Can someone help direct me to perhaps a post or a specific plug in that will do what I want?

    You can check out Adsense Integrator. Despite the name, it can be used for any program.

    But I do not know of any that do exactly what you want. I just did an overview of several plugins for ads, and I do not remember seeing any that really fit your criteria, even in the ones I didn’t write about.

    You may want to look at some of the places that handle ad placements.There are some that have good rates and I think do things like what you want.
