Manages migrations easily

I used this plugin to migrate content from a Joomla site using the Zoo CCK and it has been really straight forward. The plugin is very flexible with several filters which allow you to control how the data is entered into each post.
These can be used for setting the parent of pages, importing images from remote locations, sanitising content, whatever you need really. I would recommend installing the debug plugin as this allows you to check each import before committing it to the database. Again the filters will allow you to perform whatever checks you need during this phase as well.
