Manage Themes screen has description overload
-
This is addition to the “The requested theme does not exist.” error, it seems to be related but although I have searched and tried a few of the suggestions for the above error, they haven’t worked. When I view all the themes in Manage Themes screen, the one I have selected to use and have also tweaked has the whole css file contained in the description like this:
Screen shotI’m aware that if I just re-upload the original file it will probably cure it but I’ve spend some considerable time making a few amendments, none of which should have caused this. There must be something simple amiss but I’ve checked the syntax. The code at the top of the style.css file is as follows which looks ok to me:
/* Theme Name: Stealth ( Gray Mix & Red ) 2.5.1 Theme URI: https://wp-style.com/ Description: Widget Ready! Centered on page, sidebar on right on all views, round corners, header image red, skin gray & red. Designed by <a href="https://www.stealthsettings.com" title="Stealth Settings"> Stealth Settings </a> Version: 2.5.1 Author: <a href="https://www.stealthsettings.com" title="Stealth Settings"> Stealth Settings </a> */
It’s not preventing the theme from working but it’s a pain the butt as getting “The requested theme does not exist.” error means that I can’t use the WordPress editor and have to download and make amendments using my ftp client, I’ve tried amending the permissions but that didn’t make any difference. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.
Using 2.7.1
