    Hi guys,

    I’ve been using Sock Manager for months and I love it. But now I’ve added a new product that has variations. Product is a shirt that customers can choose the screen printing color in either Red or Black. Either color is assigned to a variation.

    If I add stock through the Woocommerce default product edit, I can just add, let’s say, 20 units of the product on the Inventory tab. People can just buy black or red printing until the 20 units are sold out. It can be 12 black and 8 red, or 18 red and 2 black, or whatever. But just 20 units of the product.

    Long story short. With the Stock Manager plugin, I can’t do that. Since it’s a variation product, it only allows me to put stock units on the Black variation field and then units on the Red variation field. But if I have only 20 shirts, I cannot predict how many units my clients would want for each color.

    Is there any way to manage stock at a product level instead of variation level for Variable Products?

    Thank you so much in advance

    @gui113m ,

    First of all, thank you for your kind words to the plugin! ??

    Sorry, currently managing stock quantity at parent level for variable product is not possible using Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin.

    However, would suggest you to have a check with our best store management plugin – Smart Manager using which you would be able to manage stock quantity at parent level as well and you can also manage your store more efficiently.
