  • On each relevant product page, Product Data Section, Inventory tab, set “Allow backorders” to either “Allow and notify customer” or “Allow”.

    will this prevent the shop page from reading “out of stock” on items. I want it to appear as though there is stock and never say “backorder” or “out of stock”

    Yes, if Product Data > Inventory > Stock status = “In stock”, the product page will say “In stock”, even though the stock quantity is a negative number.

    Thank you I think this fixes most of my issue. Hopefully i can use this with variable stock too. THANKS!
