    Hi boulderbrian,

humm, sounds odd. Could you check a few things for me please to help debug?

    – Are you logged in as a super admin?
    – Are there sites listed for the user but the roles column says ‘Empty’ or are there no sites showing at all?
    – Are there sites listed in the dropdown at the bottom?
    – What happens when you try and add a role to a user?

    Thanks

Yes, I am logged in as super admin although there is another Super Admin user.

This is what I’m seeing. Roles

If I try to add a user I cannot assign a role.

Ahh thanks for the screen shot. If you click where it says “Empty” you should then be able to pick a role for that user on that blog.

WordPress differentiates between users that are on a blog already with no role (hence the empty) and users that aren’t on a blog at all (in which case they’d show up in the dropdown at the bottom and you can add them to a blog with a role).

Let me know if that sorts it

Clicking Empty does not provide an option to change the role.

Sorted this via email. Going to mark as resolved.

@ozthegreat I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
