I don’t find the Small Priority Mail Box or Padded Envelope package options under Add A Package – Service Package.

For now, I’ve added them under Custom Package.
    I’ll see if that works.

Should I be seeing the common USPS package options under the Service Package area?

I’m having trouble with multiple item orders not being put into one package. I use Advanced Shipping and have specified to combine into one package, but it doesn’t always work.

Hoping with better-organized package options it will work.

    Hello @dcnotpc,

If you’re referring to the Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box, that will be automatically enabled and used if you’ve enabled the “Priority Mail – Small Flat Rate Box” service. Here’s a screenshot to illustrate:

    Shipping services

I have the same question as @dcnotpc. I need to enable certain Priority Mail box options but they aren’t showing even though I have selected the Priority Mail option under Shipping > WooCommerce Services > Add a Package > Service Package. The view I have is different than your screenshot and doesn’t have all of those box options or the ability to set price adjustments for each box size. See this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HpDvTas.png

UPDATE: After digging around for quite a while, I now see that the Priority Mail options referenced in your screenshot can be found and set (along with the price adjustments) under Shipping Zones > United States > USPS (WooCommerce Services). Why are there options to select the type of Priority Mail box here and under the Add a Package > Service Package section? This is confusing…

In Addition, the fact that this plugin cannot yet restrict Media Mail packages to the Media Mail shipping class may end up being a deal breaker.

Thanks Jeff, I had that selected already.

This is what is confusing me:
    Receipt
    Service
    USPS – First Class Mail
    Package
    USPS Priority Mail Envelope
    Items
    Buy Your Sponsor A Pint
    New Member Bundle

Note the Service is First Class Mail, but the Package is Priority Mail.

Under the available “Packages” in the Packages Manager, there isn’t a Small Flat Rate Box available. No “Packages” show up for First Class Mail either.
I’ll try to add a “Custom Package” and see if that works.

Here are the “Packages” available under USPS Priority Mail Boxes:

    Priority Mail Medium Tube
    37.69 x 6.13 x 5.06 in

    Priority Mail Small Tube
    25 x 6 x 5.88 in

    Priority Mail Shoe Box
    7.5 x 5.13 x 4.63 in

    Priority Mail Box – 4
    7 x 7 x 6 in

    Priority Mail Box – 7
    12 x 12 x 8 in

    Priority Mail Box – 1095
    15.25 x 12.38 x 3 in

    Priority Mail Box – 1096L
    9.25 x 6.25 x 2 in

    Priority Mail Box – 1097
    11.5 x 13.13 x 2.38 in

    Priority Mail DVD Box
    7.56 x 5.44 x 0.63 in

    Priority Mail Tyvek Envelope
    11.63 x 15.13 x 0.5 in

    USPS Priority Mail Express Boxes
    0 packages selected
    Expand Services

Hope that clears things up a bit. The software is almost great, just a bit confusing on the setup.

    Thanks,
    Dave

@midihead – Thanks for the update, I’m glad you found the settings.

@dcnotpc – The Flat Rate packages are tied to specific services, so you don’t need to select the package themselves. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones and go into your zone with USPS (WooCommerce Services) in it. The settings there will reflect the screenshot I shared above.

Thank you both for the feedback on the settings confusion. I’ll take that back to the team and we’ll look to improve it!

I am having the same issue but looking to achieve different results, so thought I would piggy back off this post.
I use a Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded envelope – which I have selected in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones > USPS (WooCommerce Services) – This works fine

My second package is priority mail Box 4 7x7x6. This option is not available under the Shipping Zone options but it is available under “Packages” in the Packages Manager. I added Box 4 in this setting, but when checking out it does not list this box as a shipping option. How can I get this box as a shipping option?

    Hello @kpmarz,

“Priority Mail Box – 4” won’t show up at checkout. It will just say “Priority Mail”.

Make sure you have “Priority Mail” enabled in your shipping method settings (see the screenshot above – it’s the top option in the Priority Mail group), and Box 4 will be used in the packing process.

Awesome! Everything is working smoothly now.

I’m having a two year battle with mailing tubes. I have 24×18 prints. Priority tubes do not show up as an option for me. I’ve tried sizing the prints for shipping purposes 24x3x3, 23.93x3x3, 24×2.93×2.93, 23.93×2.93×2.93. I’ve adjusted the weight of the box and the print a hundred times. I’ve tried creating a USPS first-class mailing tube in 24x3x3 and 26x3x3. It doesn’t show up as an option in Woocommerce Services. Nothing works. I’ve never sold a print. Shipping options are not available to customers. This needn’t be so difficult. How about settings->shipping->packages->mailing tube, then under products, a drop down to select the package that’s most appropriate? I can’t get the past two years back, but maybe I can regain some sanity if something like this were implemented in the coming weeks. What do you say? Who’s with me?

    SIMPLE:
    ACTIVATE ALL PACKAGES!!!!
GO TO AN ORDER YOU WANT TO SHIP AND GO TO PRINT A LABEL
WHEN YOU SELECT A USPS PACKAGE ALL THE PACKAGE OPTIONS ARE THERE (LIKE THE FLAT RATE BOXES AND ENVELOPES)

***I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY DON’T SHOW UP IN THE SHIPPING SETTINGS BUT THEY DO SHOW UP WHEN YOU ARE ACTUALLY AT THE POINT OF CREATING A LABEL.
