  • Hi WillyWonder,

The plugin currently does not limit editors to their own events, but that is a good idea. I have added it to my “to-do” list for the next release.

It would also be helpful if the admin could assign (or change) the author of an event.

Version 3.1.0 of the plugin contains the changes to support this feature.

    Enjoy!

    Hi

“Limit non-admins to editing their own events only” option feature works great for me. It doesn’t affect my use but you may want to allow WP-Editors (as well as admins) to edit the events of others.

Assigning/changing the author of an event (by admins and possibly WP-Editors) does not work for me. On the AddEvent and ModifyEvent pages, there is a field label of “Author” but nothing alongside of it.

Thanks for the update. Great Plugin.

Hmm, this works fine on all my test sites. What version of WP are you using? Are you logged in as a full admin or some other user level? Any chance you can send me a log in to your site so I can try it? My email address is support @ sunnythemes.com.

WP version is my problem, am using 4.3.1. Tested on a WP 4.6 and worked fine. Thanks again.

I did some digging and found the option that I use to display the user names was added in WP 4.5.0.

I have now checked in an update (3.1.1) that will work on older versions of WP correctly.

The option to change the user is nice, but now when I post an event, the default user is whomever is on top of the alphabetical list of users. Could it default to the current users?
