    In the signup form I have created a set of checkboxes to choose what group he will belong to, they can select multible boxes, the meta id is radio_jrhdu. Before this I had radio boxes allowing them to choose only 1 box, but now I want to to select mutible. I copied the same meta id to checkboxes so that existing users kept their settings.

    I enter “manage members” in the admin area and edit a random user. When editing I can only select 1 box, not multible. But when the users is logged in and enter “edit profile” form they can select multible boxes like in the signup form.

    How can I , the admin, edit a profile and select multible boxes?

    Hello,

    I understood your request about changing the field type but keeping the same meta ID. But unfortunately, it will not possible to change the field type but use the same meta key for the old field at the admin panel. But I am passing this point to the ARMember Lite core developer team and if they find it useful then they will try to add this in future releases.

    I changed to from radio_lupdh to checkbox_lupdh and now their settings is lost in profile page.
    Is it possible to copy values in phpadmin from radio to checkbox?

    Solved. Replaced values in phpmyadmin
