    Alex,

Are you saying that you do not see the “manage database fields” page in the new installation?

Hi, exactly, it is very strange. I have no install other plugin and i use new theme perfect for wordpress 3.5.1, so, i also switch theme to twentyeleven and the problem persist. So, i remember the link of manage database and i add manually to the link: admin.php?page=participants-database-manage_database (i do not know if it is correct)

The system says: You have to get authorization to access this page (i translate from italian) but i am the only one administrator

    What can i make it?

    Thank you

Well, the link should be “admin.php?page=participants-database-manage_fields”

I see that the Italian translation of the plugin has many problems, this is one of them. It has not been updated for a long time, and the plugin has changed a lot since it was created.

The “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” warning is just what happens in the admin if your link is incorrect. It doesn’t really mean you don’t have access.

I will put this on the bug list.

It’s not the theme it’s the plugin’s Italian translation. Thanks for letting me know about this, I didn’t realize there would be so many problems with the plugin when the language is Italian.

I will work on getting an updated version of the translation.

I had a similar problem, but I discovered that it was because I was trying to use the plugin on WP multi-site installation (subsite). The plugin only worked on the root url (home.com vs home.com/child)
This may not solve your problem, but it could help someone else.

Thank you but i always use this plugin in subdirectory dor example: https://www.mysite.com/web and always function well. The problem is the last version, i do not why do not function with italian language, so for the moment i use the previous version 1.4.9.1 that function perfect.

    Thanks for your help

I am releasing a bugfix for the plugin that includes an updated Italian translation that I have tested and works. The translation is only partial, but should be usable.

Look for it in a couple of hours.
