MANAGE ALBUMS no longer works

    I just upgraded to NextGen version 2.2.45 and now MANAGE ALBUMS does not work. When I select an Album three things happen which did not happen with the previous version :
    1) every entry is now maximized, and it is not possible to minimize anything (either item by item or globally)
    2) the SELECT GALLERY column now works as SHOW ALL and it is not possible to un-show all
    3) it is not possible to drag a Gallery into an album

    Please could you resolve this ? Thanks

  • I have the same problem. Just upgraded and I can’t add a gallery to the album. Please fix this quickly. I have albums dating back to 2011 and they’re all built using NextGen. This is a serious problem.

    I have the same problem to. I can’t drag and drop the galleriees. When I open the dialog box to edit an album all of them appear linked to the same page:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function esc_html_() in/web/htdocs/www.dariodedominicis.com/home/2016-lino/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/admin/album.php on line 605

    Hey all – we’ve confirmed this issue. It was introduced in our latest release yesterday. We’re looking at it now and we’ll keep you updated. We’ll get it resolved as quickly as possible.

    Our apologies. The latest release had no changes related to album functionality, so it is not obvious why albums would have been affected. That’s also why we missed this in testing.

    Update: We’ve resolved this issue, and are testing/prepping a release now.

    Update: We’ve pushed a release for this (version 2.2.46). If anyone gets a chance to update and check, we’d love to get at least a few confirmations this is fully resolved for you.

    I’ve just installed and tested the release and it has fixed the Albums problem that I had. Many thanks for resolving so quickly.
