Malwarebytes Premium blocking site access

A friend of mine who subscribes to my website via Jetpack told me that his antivirus software, Malwarebytes Premium, prevented him from accessing my site, saying that “it may contain riskware.” He also received a message that “this site can’t provide a secure connection” with the error message, “ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR.” I’ve checked with my hosting provider, and my SSL certificate is active. Any idea why the antivirus software would be flagging my site as compromised?

- Ask your friend to update Malwarebytes and verify if error persists yet.
- Verify whether the issue occurs in any others devices (with Malwarebytes Premium installed) when accessing your site. Upgrade your WP installation to the latest WP version, your plugins, and themes.
- I hope that you aren’t using any pirate themes or plugins. If so, certainly that’s the root cause of your issue because ones can contain malwares.
