Malware Scan Keeps Failing

Not sure whether this will work for this particular error but try and add the following line to the wp-config.php file:

define(‘ITSEC_TEST_MALWARE_SCAN_DISABLE_SSLVERIFY’, true);

I can’t confirm yet. I haven’t tried it. I’m having another issue that may be causing the malware issue. I’ve asked for help on it too.

I noticed the other topic. However I fail to see how that issue could cause the malware scan issue. I don’t think there is any connection …

Anyway you can test the solution provided in this topic in 5 minutes …
Perform the test, confirm the fix works (or not) in this topic and I’ll also respond to your other topic ??

I’ve the same issue. I’m using the version 2.0.2 and this is my error message:

Error Message: SSL: certificate subject name ‘*.mycloudproxy.com’ does not match target host name ‘sitecheck.sucuri.net’

Error Code: http_request_failed

I already try adding those lines to wp-config.php and still getting the error.

I’m having a similar problem when I tried to do a malware scan of my site

this is the message I received:

Scheduled malware scan resulted in an error

Error Message: Operation timed out after 300000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

Error Code: http_request_failed

Any advice for what is going wrong?
