    Hi all,

    I’ve read through multiple articles on similar issues. Here’s the problem I have:

    I have multiple WP sites, all using Artisteer themes. They all load fine on the desktop browser, but when it comes to mobile, one of them has a (malware) redirect. I believe I have narrowed it down to the theme, as replacing the Artisteer theme with WP twenty fifteen, causes it to load correctly. Further narrowing it down by process of elimination – I looked at .htaccess, index, 404, script.js and finally, where I believe the culprit lies – the header.php. By replacing the header with other themes headers, I was able to get rid of the code, but the page won’t load correctly.
    I don’t have a “clean backup” that I can use. Also, I do use Filezilla & have noticed this message: “Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.”
    I’m wondering if this has anything to do with the malware. I’m hoping that I will not have to change passwords & start from scratch, and that it’s just something in the header I need to fix.
    Any ideas out there?
    Here’s the header.php code:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" <?php language_attributes(); ?>>
    <head profile="https://gmpg.org/xfn/11">
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="<?php bloginfo('html_type') ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo('charset') ?>" />
    <title><?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_url') ?>" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <!--[if IE 6]><link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/style.ie6.css" type="text/css" media="screen" /><![endif]-->
    <!--[if IE 7]><link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/style.ie7.css" type="text/css" media="screen" /><![endif]-->

    <?php endif; ?>

    <?php if (is_file(TEMPLATEPATH .'/favicon.ico')):?>
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/favicon.ico" />
    <?php endif; ?>
    <?php wp_head(); ?>

    After an extensive exhaustive search, the culprit was found in a widget! Once disabled, the website loaded correctly!
    Sooo, anyone having this issue of redirects should 1st look at all plugins & widgets! ??
