My recent scan found some cache Malicious or Unsafe files, I'm using WP-Optimize - Clean, Compress, Cache

    What are these?

I went to Facebook cache groups they said Wordfence Security falsy gives these errors and false attacks so, the user purchases the pro version? Wordfence Security really does that?

Some users from Facebook groups warned to move away fro Wordfense it's heavy for the website and gives false alarms.

    What should I do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @theviraltweets and thanks for reaching out to us!

Could you provide some screenshots of the results you might have received for me to review?

Make sure to block out any private information or email them to wftest @ wordfence . com with subject ” @theviraltweets for WFADAM ”

    Thanks!

I’ve reached out to my hosting provider, then warned me to use Sucuri for better security.

Now I’m more confused, why is everyone recommending some other security plugin?

Thanks for providing that information @theviraltweets

Everyone has their own preference and some hosts are contracted to suggest other security plugins. It really comes down to choosing for yourself, mainly what works best for you and your site. It’s very obvious that Wordfence is doing its job here and providing you the details of potentially malicious files. Even if they turn out to be false positives, wouldn’t you still want to be warned that something could be an issue vs nothing at all?

If you could click on one of those scan results, it will expand it with more details. Screenshot that and post it here or send it in the email as I mentioned before and I can review the results better.

    Thanks again!
