    Hi,
I had Objectsync connected to an old sandbox but needed to connect it to a different one. I setup the new connected app in the sandbox and changed the key and secret in WP but it is giving me the error “The request is missing a required parameter, includes an invalid parameter value, includes a parameter more than once, or is otherwise malformed.” I went ahead and deleted the Objectsync plugin with the “Delete plugin data” option checked and reinstalled it but I am still getting the error. The error appears after I grant the app permissions in SF. Any ideas?

If you need to connect to a different Salesforce instance, you have to disconnect the plugin and then reauthorize it with the new one.

I’m not sure why this would be the case if you deleted the plugin’s data. You might want to check your database, if you have access. Check the wp_options table for any remaining fields that have salesforce in the name.

Thanks Jonathan. I did disconnect the plugin from SF before I changed the info for the new sandbox and after I received the error the first time, deleted the plugin. I also checked both Objectsync DBs to see if there was any leftover information and to make sure they were created and they were both empty.

You may have incorrect values in your settings, then. Salesforce is returning that error, correct? It is not often super helpful with these error messages, but that is my guess.

Thats what I had thought and the reason I completely cleared the plugin. I double checked and made sure everything seemed correct when I reentered the information.
OK, I will try to delete the app in SF and set it up again. The error is coming from SF. I wanted to find out if it was something you came across and could pinpoint the issue.
Thanks for your help as always!

If you have an object cache in your WordPress, that could also be part of it if that cache lasts a long time. But that depends on how your server setup works. It could even be a DNS cache, if there’s a weird redirect thing that is happening between the old and new Salesforce instances.

    Jonathon,
I realized what it was, do you know how I can get around this?
First, I realized the error was on the WP side and not SF.
I then realized I had setup Minorange OAuth Single Sign On. I disabled that and Objectsync successfully authorized and connected to SF.
So my issues seems to be a conflict between SSO and Objectsync. Do you know a way I can resolve this to use both?

I don’t, I’ve never used that plugin. I don’t have access to a single sign on system these days, so I’m not sure I would be able to test with it either.

OK. No problem. Thank you for your help. We can mark this as resolved. ??
