Hi ! Thanks for this plugin.

I have struggled a bit with CSS to have the caption displayed as I wish, but it’s ok. Or almost ok, because the caption is not properly formed in lists.

I think it’s important to note that I use HTML with links in the caption and html rendering is activated.

In a post, the featured image has the caption correctly formed: some text and some links.

In a list, the caption is supposed, by default, to link to the post: that’s probably where the bug comes from… The first words (as you can see on the link I’ve provided) are linked to the post, then there is a link to a the image author’s url, then no more link. It seems html rendering messes up with several links… The best solution for now would be to not display the caption in lists (which is actually ok, since it’s not really important to have it here).

Solutions would include: disable default link to post if caption contains a link or add an option to disable link to post (in the post meta) when displayed in list.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The default link to post seems to be added by the theme you are using, surrounding the image and it’s caption with it. That’s something the plugin cannot control, maybe you can modify it editing the theme template. The other option would be to disable the captions in lists with the plugin options.

We’ll consider the feature of disabling links in captions for a future update, thanks for your suggestions
