Malcare says infected files – is this false positive?

    Hi,

    Malcare says that we have 2 infected files on the website and it’s

    Infected File (./files/tmp/xxxx/forms_with_paypal_payment/blocks/form_with_paypal_payment/tools/ipn_listener.php)

    Infected File (./packages/forms_with_paypal_payment/blocks/form_with_paypal_payment/tools/ipn_listener.php)

    The first file is in a temporary folder so I wondered if it’s needed?
    I’m not sure about the other file.

    Neither of the files says that they’ve been modified. Wordfence has not picked up any modifications either.

    Please let me know if you think that this could be a false positive or can these files be deleted?

    This is the first time we’ve had this issue reported – so I don’t believe it’s a false positive, but I’ve never used Malcare before.

    I would suggest that you re-download clean plugin files from www.remarpro.com and upload them over the “infected” files on your website.
