Making Widget Sticky?

Yes, it sticks on the top.

Please check FAQ – Settings for widget:

Optionally you can enable Sticky widget – this means that this widget (and widgets below) will stay fixed in the sidebar when the page is scrolled.

You can also make other widgets sticky even if you don’t use Ad Inserter widgets – drag Ad Inserter widget to the sidebar ABOVE the top widget that needs to be sticky, select Dummy Widget for Block, check Sticky and save widget.

Wow – I can’t believe how quick you responded. That’s great customer service, Igor. In my case, the Sticky is NOT working. The Widget/ad just keeps scrolling. But I’m also not using the official WordPress sidebar. I created my own custom one with Beaver Themer. So I’m assuming that’s why it’s not sticking.

Can you please try development version?

Sticky widget sets sidebar container CSS to position: sticky; but for this to work parent containers should not have overflow set to hidden, etc.

So this may not work with all themes but I’ll try to add universal support for all cases.

Thanks again, Igor. If I delete the current plugin to load the development version will it retain my settings/code that I currently have set up? I just want to double check before proceeding.

You do great work, Igor! It almost worked. I emailed you a link to see what is happening. It does stick to the top, but because I have a sticky header, it is going behind it before sticking. Not sure if that can be resolved but you’ve already gone above and beyond the call of duty and I thank you for your awesome support.

In general plugin settings (tab *) you can also define Sticky Widget Top Margin to precisely define top position where first sticky widget will stop. Set it to the height of the header, e.g. 215.

I’m using the development version you created that works perfect. Will that be pushed out to this free WordPress version or the Pro version (either way I’ll be upgrading)?

Yes, everything in free version is available also in Pro.
