Making topic forums easier to navigate

  • When I scroll through topics after entering keywords for them, I might come up with dozens of posts that seem to be related. But overall, the search process is very lengthy. Think of the number of postings in wordpress topics compared to the number of FAQ’s you will find on lots of sites. It’s probably thousands versus 50 or so. I know that specific questions and needs of wordpress users are extremely varied, but it would be nice if there were a way to compress or collapse dozens of similar questions and responses into maybe one general response–especially if posts are a few months old or so. It could conceivably save time in using the help feature (which is great for people with lots of time, but sometimes frustrating for people with limited time).
