• Hi,

I’m working on a large scale multisite project that will offer free and open registrations and I want my back-end system to be as simple as possible for users.

In terms of usability, I’m sure many users become confused when they see so many different configuration options between all the themes they can be using (all themes have different settings options, different back-end menus, different widgets, different limitations, different wording…). This is really bad user interface in a multiste environment aimed at non technical users…

Actually I don’t want to offer very advanced child themes that have all different settings, different widgets and different back-end menus. I just would like to have a pack of nice but simple themes that can easily be managed and customized the same way (same menu options, same settings and same widgets). If more advanced functionalities are needed, then they will be added with plug-ins.

Did someone create something similar to what I’m looking for? I would be glad to pay for it. Or is there any solution or theme provider you could recommend to me?

Thank you and sorry for my poor english. I hope you understand me.

    Laurent

Then you probably want to pick themes all from the same … er provider (that word feels wrong).

StudioPress and Theme Hybrid both run by that school of thought.
