• Hello,
I am new to website building, and I’ve recently set up a wordpress site using the duena theme https://www.globetrottingamnesiac.com
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way to make the sidebar smaller – I’d love to have the blog posts take up more room and the about me/side bar take up less room? Or at least, on the blog posts. Or even have a full width blog post with no side bar.

    thanks!

    Hi.
It will be difficult to do – Duena layout based on Bootstrap grid system, so if you need change column width – you need to change all css classes in templates files, which define pages layout. And you need to do it in child theme (because if you do it in theme – all your customizations will be reset after theme update). Also – featured image size, image sizes for Image and Gallery post types are adapted for current layout, so if you change layout you also need to change defined image sizes and regenerate your thumbnails.

Good to know – I will live with it then!
    Thank you for your help

Hi there. The sidebar is a little way too big for my website too, otherwise this theme is almost perfect. But as it’s too big, it makes the viewer paying too much attention to it, and less to the important content.
    Please add this functionnality.
