• Hello is there a way to make the wordpress backend dashboard appear like it is contained on a page on your site. For example display the sites header at the top and the sites footer at the bottom and then styling everything so it looks as though it is simply part of a page on your site rather than a backend dashboard?

If you dont know what I mean then something like this

I can probabaly do the css styles myself but I have no idea where to start editing stuff or how to echo the fronted sites header or footer inside the backend dashboard.

Would be something really awesome though if could do it.

Any help would be awesome! (very little about this on the web)

    Thank you!

  • You need to do A LOT OF WORK to reach that and its not good idea, if you want to create a custom back-end just create new one on the front-end, it will be mush easier than re-design the old one and add just what you need.

I got tired of just thinking about it ??

Thanks for your reply and yes I totally agree really wished wordpress made dashboard shortcode or something to echo out certain parts of the dashboard onto pages on the front end like woocommerce add products and plugin stuff and such things.

Looks as though some people have had some success but only half done with making the dashboard look like the frontend here:
