Making replications of my site

By doing that you’ll have multiple versions of the same site out there, which means that all of the other sites will be hit with duplicate content penalties and go nowhere in the rankings. And if the other site doesn’t get hurt, your site will.

Also it may be a violation of the terms of service to AdSense.

I have heard of people using multi site in order to make “affiliate” sites (aff01.mysite.com) and I just figured they replicated it. Any ideas on how else you could do this?

They create new sites with unique content on each one. Not just multiple copies of the same thing.

278 pages indexed vs. 31 pages indexed. That says it all, doesn’t it?

If you really want to do it (and there’s a whole lot of reasons not to), there are some duplicator plugins out there, or you can learn the process for duplicating the database using MySQL. Just remember that it’s not quite so straight-forward depending on how you want it to work, and you’ll need to update every site after every update.
