Making “recent posts” heading a link in sidebar

  • Hi,

    I have a recent post widget installed in the right sidebar as standard.

    What I want to do is make the heading of the recent post widget a link to my blog page.

    the links for the actual posts link directly to the posts but i want to be able to link the whole page.

    Any ideas?

  • You’d need to either edit the widget’s code to add the markup you need. Or you could, in theory, edit your sidebar, add the recent posts header & link to the sidebar’s code and then use CSS to hide the widget’s header.

    Thanks for that, I might try and dig a bit deeper into the widget code…
