Making my test site live

My web designer uploaded my site-in-progress to https://www.jennaglatzer.com/test. Things went badly; I just finished up the redesign myself, but now don’t know how to make the test site live! Are there steps to take? Do I just copy all the files over from “test” into the main directory?
