Making my navigation bars

  • I am new to wordpress and I am really struggling. I am using it for business purposes only – no blogging whatsoever. I need a them (currently trying swift) that will allow a navigation bar across the top (with usuals like home page, contact us, advertise with us, about us) and on the left side for the states in the US. I have tried for HOURS and cannot seem to figure out how to do this. My site will eventually have advertisements as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Most themes will allow you to use the built-in WordPress menus to create your own menu structure. The theme determines where the menu is to be displayed and its appearance.

    For the sidebar menu, there is a Custom Menu widget that will let you place your own menu in the sidebar.
