I would like to use the header option for my website, but the header image doesn’t seem to be responsive in the mobile versions. It stays large and I have to scroll to see the entire image. Is there a way to make the header responsive like the logo option is? When viewing my website on a mobile phone or tablet, I would like the entire header to show.

  • URL? SCREENSHOT?

I can give you the url, but I’m using the logo option right now so that it’s responsive on mobile devices. It’s my local library’s website, so I can’t add the header image and screw it up while I wait for a response. I’m sorry!

I just need to know if there is code I need to add to make header images responsive, too.

And by “not resizing to fit mobile devices,” I mean the width doesn’t resize to fit mobile device screens. You have to scroll back and forth (left and right) to see the entire image (even when using the size specifications given by the theme).

Looks like you already made it responsive ? But did you customize the CSS of the theme itself ? If so please use child theme to customize your stuffs as if we update the theme then your customization will be overwritten.

    Thank you !

No, I’m using the logo option right now because that one DOES resize for mobile devices. I want to use the HEADER option, and that one DOESN’T resize.

@hooperandkind – Can you please send us the link of your site ? Main menu should be responsive. Try to disable other plugins to see if there is conflict with another plugin or not.

    Hi hooperandkind,

We didn’t get your reply since six months. We hope you got the solutions of your issue.

    Thanks

Was this ever actually resolved? Because my header image still does not resize on a mobile screen. Everything else about the template seems to be mobile-responsive EXCEPT for the header image. My site is https://2015.attendicec.org.

Has this been fixed? Doesn’t seem so. I am using this theme and the header stays too large on a mobile device in portrait mode. When I rotate to landscape it looks correct and when I rotate back to portrait the whole site shrinks to a small column on the left side of the screen. What is going on???
