Making First/Last Names Mandatory

  • Has anyone managed to find a way to make this possible? I know one way is by heavily editing the register.php… But has anyone successfully done this?

    I know we’re really not supposed to edit the core files, so maybe a plugin is available that can do this?

    I just really need all my members that register to put in a first and last name.

    If noone has attempted this before… Are there any support sites out there with info on how to modify your register pages?

    I will just say “same same” ??

    Could be nice to make some fields mandatory!
