Forever has a feature where you can display the latest four blog posts side-by-side, like you see in the demo here:

To activate that, head under Appearance > Theme Options, and check off the box that says “Show four of your latest posts in columns on your blog page.” Be sure each post has a featured image for the nicest-looking display!
