    Dear Team,

We want to know how we can make email address optional as most of our orders are COD and dont require an email address.

    Hello @viralmediahub ,

    Greetings for the day!

I wanted to let you know that with CartFlows’ checkout Custom Field Editor, you have the flexibility to configure the email field as non-required if you prefer. To do this, simply navigate to the checkout step and access the “Form Fields” section. Within the Custom Field Editor, locate the email field, and there you’ll find a checkbox that determines whether the field is required or not. By unchecking this box, the email field will no longer be mandatory for your customers during checkout.

For your convenience, I’ve created a demonstration video showcasing these steps, which you can watch here: https://d.pr/v/Ssirej.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Best regards.

    Dear @aamiribsf ,

Thank you for your prompt reply, we have actually done that several times but it doesn’t seem to affect the mandatory state of the email address

    Hello @viralmediahub,

If you are using CartFlows checkout with a modern checkout template, the email field settings can not be changed, please switch to another checkout layout so that you can make changes to the email field, using your page builder you can change the checkout template type -or- if you are using CartFlows shortcode you can change this on your design settings page, please refer to screenshot 1 and screenshot 2.

If you are using any third party checkout form fields plugins this may also affect the checkout form field.

    Hope this helps.

Let us know if we could be of any further assistance.?
