Making Comments Link Disappear When I've Removed Comment Code

    I am theming a new site and using a gallery plugin (NexGen) and am creating the template for a blog page which will display individual galleries. I have removed commenting from the template “php” file but I’m still getting an anchor tag showing up which should not be there and is not styled. (See illustration.) Anyone know how to get rid of it? I’ve included a screenshot of the template’s code below and thanks in advance…

  • the comments link is likely to be found in /inc/meta.php

    Surely easier to just do a “display: none;” in css?

    A couple of sites I do have CMS pages where some contents of .entry-meta, .entry-utility & comments aren’t wanted, it’s easier to just remove them from css.

    Thanks for the advice; I actually discovered the meta.php and fixed that way; although that’s simply becuz that was the solution I stumbled across first. I like the display: none solution as well.
