Making Background Images Cool

    first centre the blog as in the screenshot.

    next what you would do is create the background image without the blog in the middle, create a space wide enough for the blog in the middle of that image and then upload that and set that as your background. – that’s basically how I did it when applying opposing diagonal lines on either side.
