• I want to change the url of this page from:
    https://orgbrain.no/partnerskap/

    To:
    https://orgbrain.no/om-oss/partnerskap

The “om-oss” is not a page but the heading of the dropdown in the front page menu, so I can not simply make the page a child page og the “om-oss” page, as there is no such page. How do I manually put the pages on this submenu into a subdirectory called “om-oss” and still keep an intact structure in WordPress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Pages in WordPress are just a post type. They are not stored in a folder but in the WordPress database. If you want to change the URL you are going to have to change the permalink to the page. If you edit your page there is an option on the right panel for permalink. Change the URL slug to whatever you want it to say. Check to make sure your menu options are then pointing to the correct page.

    Thank you for your response.
The Permalink setting on the right doesn’t allow me to set the forward slash which indicates the subdirectory. It automatically converts the slash to a hyphen:

    orgbrain.no/om-oss/styre-og-ledelse/
    orgbrain.no/om-oss-styre-og-ledelse/

However. A workaround is to make an empty “om-oss” page and set this as the parent page to the other pages in this dropdown menu.
