Making a plugin, how to connect it to the price in woocommerce

    I am trying to get the price at the top of my screen here to show up in the shopping cart when i push the add to cart button…

    as to how far i have come in the progress, i have made an jqeury and js functions for making the price and demonstration change on user input. My current attempt is using ajax to send the price to the serverside and then send the price to the woocommerce add to cart. but it doesn’t work, so i am asking for some tips. ps. i am new to this ??
