Makin WPPA faster

  • Hi Jacob, I run three databases for images on my website medienarchiv.com.
    Coppermine, Pixtacy and WPPA. WPPA is slower than the other ones.

    Shurely this has been discussed before, but I couldn’t find the thread or tutorial. Is there any?

    I want to use a clean, simple and responsive theme like twenty twelfe on an installation, which will only serve as Image-Database. Has this theme an effect on the speed of WPPA? If yes, would you recomment another theme instead?

    The theme does not have any influence.

    I recommend you to define page sizes for thumbnails and slideshows to speed up page creation. Values up to 100 are recommended for the settings in Table I-B8 and Table I-C7
