makes the screen very wide in smartphone

  • when using it from asmartphone (chrome browser) it causes the window to expend alot and back all the time.
    when i checked the console it said:

    VM235:7 [Deprecation] The deviceorientation event is deprecated on insecure origins, and support will be removed in the future. You should consider switching your application to a secure origin, such as HTTPS. See https://goo.gl/rStTGz for more details.
    i am sure it is the shortcode of this plugin who caused the issue because i tested it on a clean page.
    tryed contacting the plugin owner but the form on their website didnt work…

    As far as I know there are no handlers used by the plugin, that affect the device orientation, so I don’t exactly know why that error message pops up.
    This could very easily be a script conflict or simply an indirect cause by a 3rd party script as well. I won’t be able to tell unless I can see the problem directly.

    I’m not saying it’s not the search shortcode causing the issue, but the fact that I’m not able to re-create it tells me, that this might be an issue with a combination of scripts or other assets in a specific case. Unfortunately it is not possible to create a plugin, that works in every single case, as there are over half a million themes and plugins out there. Conflicts happen, unfortunately.
