Makes SMTP emails setup easy and adds extra value

  • At first I did my SMTP setup on my own, without using any plugin and I got it to work. But it took me a while, for instance I struggled to see how to edit the “From” email/name, etc.

    Then, I discovered Fluent SMTP, and in maybe 20 minutes I had setup my Amazon SES access via that plugin.

    It would have been much quicker for me to use FluentSMTP straight away, but I didn’t know there was a free plugin (a well-known competitor has an expensive pricing if you want to add Amazon SES), whereas FluentSMTP is… free ??

    I also like the email logging feature, which helped me when troubleshooting my WordPress emails.
